Grab your Driftpacs and grappling hooks, it’s time to loot. Pick a character and dive into Blind Squirrel’s team-based shooter, Drifters Loot the Galaxy. This sci-fi themed action game adds even more action with the addition of two features that really get players off the ground, the previously mentioned jet packs (or Driftpacs) and grappling hooks.
The game features a rag-tag selection of five Drifters ranging from robots and rock people to an anthropomorphic shark. Each features unique weapons, abilities, and even an ultimate. And, each can be customized.
Gameplay is focused around payload-style matches. In order to win, the Drifters must move a payload to their ship at the opposite end of the map, while avoiding being destroyed by the opposing team. As one of the payloads gets closer to its destination, conflicts become more frequent as the opposing team respawns near the end. During play, players can earn accumulated loot by breaking open chests or killing roaming minions. Gathering this loot earns in-match credits that are used to level up a Drifter.
